Hi, we’re Teresa and Lenny Sharp, and we originally started this blog to share and celebrate the trips we were taking, primarily in California, in our classic bug convertible.

Three years ago, we moved to Yokohama Japan and traded our bug in for a Shinkansen or “bullet train”. What started as a two year international assignment for my company, has been extended twice, so if all goes as planned, we’ll be in Japan for a total of four years. This is a great country and we have enjoyed traveling it by car, train and cruise ship. We have also made trips to Taiwan, Thailand, China, Singapore, and have a trip planned this Christmas to Australia. We will be sharing our trips on this blog with tips and tricks we’ve learned, as well as all the details about how we got there, where we’ve stayed and the meals we’ve enjoyed. Our plan is to start sharing new trips as we take them, at the same time we’ll build the archive of posts about trips we’ve already taken. We hope you enjoy traveling along with us.
